Strasbourg CIEL has been welcoming foreign students since 1976. This department of the Alsace Eurometropole Chamber of Commerce and Industry was set up to reflect the international development of the city and companies and to encourage students to learn French as a foreign language (FLE).
Based at the very heart of the city, in September 1999 the Strasbourg CIEL relocated to CCI Campus, the training centre of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This training centre is home to the various training branches of the Alsace Eurometropole Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This spacious and comfortable base boasts outstanding technical resources and is just a 9-minute tram journey from the historic centre of the city, and just 20 minutes from the airport.
